Annual MHPN Conference: 'Health Psychology in 2020'
The Midlands Health Psychology Network (MHPN) is currently accepting submissions to their 16th Annual Conference, to be held on Thursday, May 28th, 2020 in Birmingham.
Our conferences are well attended by researchers, academics and students from the Midlands and beyond, and we host a day of oral presentations, poster presentations and showcases of intervention or practice.
Traditional 20-minute slot to talk about your research, suitable for students/researchers who have completed a piece of research and can present findings and impact.
To be displayed throughout the day with a specific time slot for presenters to stand by their posters and answer questions from delegates about their research. We will accept ‘works in progress’ in the form of a poster.
This is an opportunity to showcase an intervention that is either in prototype phase or complete, particularly digital interventions. This less traditional option will give presenters flexibility in the way they present their intervention. For example, you might get the audience to use the intervention, or you might go through the intervention journey with annotation of the theory and background behind it. You could also showcase an example of the application of health psychology in practice here. You can really be creative with this option!
Once you have decided which option is best suited to your submission, complete the relevant form below and return to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note - submissions accepted for LIMITED time ONLY - please follow our Twitter account for further details.
Abstract submission forms:
Please note that all abstract submissions are anonymised before being reviewed. Abstracts are considered in relation to their contribution to health psychology, research design, interest to delegates, and the clarity of the abstract. The MHPN conference team then makes the final decision.
We very much welcome submissions from MSc students.
